I raced in Kona Sleepless in the Saddle at the weekend and had a great time.

The whole thing was a bit short notice, when we first entered we were put on the waiting list because the race was full, and I only found out on the Friday morning that we were racing.

Copied of the back of a 200g bar of Cadbury's salmonela laced fruit and nut.

Enjoying chocolate as part of a balanced lifestyle can play a part in making people feel calmer, more relaxed and generally happier. Chocolate gives us an emotional boost, which triggers similar 'good feelings' to thise we experience whn listening to music, going on holiday, or being in love!

Help!

Would anyone like to go snowbaording at Cairngorm this weekend?

Help! I've been offered a lift up to Cairngorm this weekend with a non-skiier. I really want to snowboard this weekend if the snow stays.

So, would any Husi snowboarding peeps who are not axe murderers want to share accomodation with me on Friday and Saturday night and board or ski with me on Saturday and Sunday?

Who would have thunked it?

I'm just posting to let you all know that I had an excellent 4 days of snowboarding last weekend, in Cairngorm of all places. The snow conditions were absolutely perfect. One advantage of frequent white-out conditions is that there is always plenty of fresh snow falling.

Read on and envy me.

Quite possibly one of the my favourite politicians. For those of you who don't know he is The Lord Mayor of London. He deserves a lot of credit. For one he's succesfully introduced the congestion charging scheme which has cut traffic and road accidents in London by about 30%.

An article in the guardian opens with the paragraph:

The death of a protester has renewed the dispute about transporting radioactive materials through France by rail, reports Amelia Gentleman

At this point I'm prepared to take the article seriously.
